As part of the audit trail for IFS Broker the Vinçotte auditor is required to assess your company's ability to meet the conditions specified in the IFS Broker standard. Under this heading, an examination is made of the quality system and HACCP system, along with your ability in practice to deliver products that live up to your customer's expectations.

IFS Broker is intended for brokers, importers and trade agents to ensure they apply suitable non-product-specific measures to guarantee food safety.
IFS has specific standards for logistics centres (IFS Logistics) for companies processing food products (IFS Food).
Certification according to the IFS Broker standard may be combined with certification according to the BRC Agents and Brokers standard, the ISO 22000 standard or according to the Self-Appraisal guides
