RPO - Agent voor stralingsbescherming - permanente vorming
Deze opleidingen zijn bedoeld voor mensen die al actief zijn als agent voor de stralingsbescherming of diensthoofd fysische controle. Door permanente vorming te volgen, kunnen ze hun rol op het gebied van stralingsbescherming optimaal blijven vervullen.
De bescherming van de werknemers en het publiek tegen de schadelijke effecten van ioniserende straling is een belangrijke verantwoordelijkheid van de exploitanten van klasse II en III inrichtingen. Om deze taak naar behoren te kunnen uitvoeren, moeten de agenten stralingsbescherming/diensthoofden fysische controle over de nodige kennis en vaardigheden beschikken.
Daarom is het niet voldoende dat zij een basisopleiding volgen, maar moeten zij ook regelmatig hun kennis opfrissen en actualiseren via permanente vorming. Deze permanente vorming omvat onder andere wijzigingen in de regelgeving, ervaringsfeedback, nieuwe technieken en methoden, enz. De frequentie en de duur van de permanente vorming zijn afhankelijk van de klasse van de inrichting:
- voor een klasse II inrichting moeten de leden van de interne dienst fysische controle 4 uur permanente vorming per jaar volgen,
- terwijl voor een klasse III inrichting 1 uur per jaar volstaat.
