Digi-Tags will be the supporting platform for the RPO and its obligations.
At Radiodiagnose VZW, which specialises in medical imaging, the safe monitoring of equipment is crucial. Previously, compliance was monitored by the local Radiation Protection Officer (RPO), Gretel Wybraeke, using confusing Excel files. This led to inefficiency and made it difficult to guarantee the mandatory periodicity.
To remove this administrative burden, Radiodiagnose VZW decided to switch to Vinçotte's Digi-Tags platform in April 2025. This new, centralised platform supports the RPO in all its obligations and puts an end to fragmented and cumbersome monitoring.
The switch to Digi-Tags yielded immediate results.
Gretel now has a clear status overview of all equipment across the various sites, making deadlines and tasks easy to manage. Efficiency has greatly improved because a quick QR scan on the equipment gives direct access to the latest status. This simplifies communication with both internal staff and external radiation experts and technicians. Thanks to the professional support of Vinçotte's experts, the start-up went smoothly, allowing the focus to now be entirely on safe and organised operations.
