This standard is particularly suitable for manufacturing companies selling their products to retailers. Certification according to this internationally recognised standard is indispensable, particularly if your company supplies products to companies in the United Kingdom.
BRC has specific standards for packaging manufacturing companies (BRC IoP), for logistics centres (BRC Storage and Distribution) and for companies importing and exporting products (BRC Agents and Brokers).
Certification according to the BRC Food standard may be combined with another certification, such as certification according to the IFS standard, the ISO 22000 standard or according to the Self-Appraisal guides
