Vinçotte Audits Orange Cyberdefense for NIS2 Certification

Orange Cyberdefense (Wijnegem) is indeed the very first cybersecurity company in Belgium to be officially certified according to the strict European NIS2 directive. This recognition, which places Orange Cyberdefense at the European forefront in terms of cybersecurity and risk management, was granted after a thorough audit conducted by Vinçotte, on behalf of the Centre for Cybersecurity Belgium (CCB).
As an independent and accredited audit partner, we carried out a seven-day, in-depth evaluation of Orange Cyberdefense's systems and processes. This audit confirmed not only compliance with NIS2 requirements, but also with DORA regulations for the financial sector, almost two years before the official deadline of April 2027. Our expertise in navigating complex regulations and performing detailed assessments was essential to validate Orange Cyberdefense's proactive and robust governance, risk, and compliance approach.
The successful certification, resulting from our audit, underscores the importance of independent verification in an increasingly complex cyber landscape. Our contribution helps Orange Cyberdefense strengthen its role as a reliable partner for other companies aiming for NIS2 compliance, and contributes to increasing the overall cyber resilience of crucial sectors in society.
