Vinçotte Achieves BELAC Accreditation for EU Battery Regulation verification activities
This marks an important milestone in our journey towards becoming a Notified Body under the EU Battery Regulation (EU) 2023/1542.
Vinçotte - a KIWA company, has successfully obtained BELAC accreditation in accordance with ISO/IEC 17065 for the verification activities related to Article 7 (Carbon Footprint) and Article 8 (Recycled Content) of the Battery Regulation.
This accreditation confirms that our national accreditation body formally recognizes Vinçotte's technical competence, impartiality, and expertise to perform these conformity assessment activities under the Regulation.
This achievement represents a major step towards our objective of becoming a fully designated Notified Body for the EU Battery Regulation.
