For a food company such as Nutradia, safety is not an option but an absolute priority.
However, the periodic inspection of the fire detection system posed a logistical challenge: smoke detectors and beams are located at a height of 10 metres, between complex scaffolding and structures. Traditional methods involve high costs, risks and operational disruptions. According to prevention advisor Aurore, the switch to drone inspection was therefore ‘primarily a matter of safety. It is also much faster and more practical.’
Vinçotte deployed its advanced drone inspection system and put an end to the complexity. After thorough preparation, the drone was able to fly effortlessly over the scaffolding and reach all the detectors on the high roof. The inspector carried out all the tests flawlessly and without any risk at height. Nutradia's daily activities were not interrupted.
The result was perfect compliance and a strengthened safety culture.
