Vinçotte contributes to the future of energy at the European Alliance for SMRs

Yesterday, our colleagues Stijn Michiels and Philippe Callens from our nuclear team represented us in Brussels at the 2nd General Assembly of the European Industrial Alliance for Small Modular Reactors (SMRs). This important initiative, organised by Nuclear Europe, the European Commission and SNETP (The Sustainable Nuclear Energy Technology Platform), aims to accelerate the deployment of SMRs in Europe by the early 2030s.
Vinçotte is leveraging its expertise in inspection, testing and certification to actively contribute to TWG3: Supply Chain, with the aim of building a competent and scalable European supply chain.
Our contribution helps to establish the essential standards and confidence needed to make SMRs a cornerstone of the European energy transition.
We are proud of our team's role in this crucial dialogue, ensuring that safety and quality remain top priorities as the energy landscape evolves.
