Vinçotte as authorized inspection organization for the VTN2 project of Fluxys

The Executive Committee of Fluxys, the operator of the natural gas transport network in Belgium, has decided to entrust Vinçotte with the supervision of the construction of the new VTN2-RTR2 pipeline (DN 1000, 170 km) between Eynatten and Opwijk. This assignment, which is part of the mandate of authorized inspection organization within the framework of the Belgian legislation (gas law), will require Vinçotte to monitor the manufacturing of the pipes in the factory as well as the laying of the pipeline on site (monitoring of the welding works, non-destructive testing, examinations and tests, ...). The project represents an investment of over 300 million euros.
