Nuclear Pressure Equipment - ASN Acceptance

Vinçotte has been involved in the safety and quality assurance of pressure equipment and their installations for over 130 years now. Therefore it developed activities in inspection, non-destructive examination, testing and certification. Back in the early 1950’s Vinçotte was already one of the first independent companies in Europe to expand its services to the nuclear sector.

The French authorities have now recognised our wide experience. We are pleased to announce that our company has been accepted by the French Nuclear Safety Authority (ASN) for the inspection of nuclear pressure equipment in accordance with the Decree of 12 December 2005 (ESPN). This acceptance is based on our notification for the European Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC (PED) and on our experience in the inspection and surveillance of nuclear pressure equipment and their installations
